BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Responsible for the affairs of the Synagogue. Members of the board of directors are elected by the congregation, typically to a three year term, following nomination by the Nominating Committee

MARKETING COMMITTEE
Reviews and advises how we market the synagogue internally and publicly
Meets quarterly
EDITING TEAM
Edit the Pharisee (monthly newsletter) and weekly publicity
Reviews weekly
ADULT EDUCATION
Advises professional staff and clergy on a high level for adult educational programming
Meets three times per year
HOUSE AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE
Manages our building upkeep
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE
Helps to beautify our synagogue space, including artwork, colors, furnishings
SUSTAINABILITY@TBH-BE
Looks at our environmental impact, helps reduce our environmental footprint and plans environmental themed programming
Meets four times per year
BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
Develops and implements annual synagogue budget and maintains oversight of spending. Committee headed by synagogue Treasurer
Meets weekly during February and March
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Helps the synagogue with its annual fundraising including gala and matanah (annual high holiday appeal)
Committee headed by our VP of fundraising
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Coordinates activities of membership recruitment, welcome, retention and integration
Meets four times per year
PRAYER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Evaluates all aspects of our services and experiences with our clergy to enhance religious life
LEGACY COMMITTEE
Helps to strengthen membership planned giving
