Sunday night limmud (snl)

For 9th-12th graders
Sunday Night Limmud (learning) is a once monthly gathering with learning sessions led by Rabbi Witkovsky and Rabbi Shvartsmann.

Sunday Night Limmud creates a comprehensive four-year learning pathway that builds toward, continues, and extends beyond our core Confirmation program. This offering provides continuity and depth to our teen Jewish education.

This new program supplements our existing teen offerings, which include:
- Madrichim: teens can be teaching assistants in religious school classrooms and during the high holidays
- Lower Merion Area Hebrew High School (LMAHH): a once weekly Hebrew High school that joins with Har Zion and Adath Israel for learning and dinner
- USY: teen programming and trips led by Phil Nathanson
- Torah Reading: on Shabbat morning

Please note: Our confirmation class for 10th graders and Senior Schmooze program for 12th graders are incorporated into the Sunday Night Limmud curriculum.

The curriculum includes:
9th Grade: Jewish Ethics (building the foundation)
10th Grade: Confirmation (the cornerstone experience)
11th Grade: Jewish Social Justice and Activism (applying Jewish values)
12th Grade: Israel and Anti-Semitism on the College Campus (preparing for the future)

Lower merion area hebrew high  (LMAHH)

Lower Merion Area Hebrew High School "Many Voices. One Community"

For teens grades 8th-12th
The Lower Merion Area Hebrew High (LMAHH) was created to provide a weekly Jewish learning experience, bringing students from many synagogues (or no synagogue) together under one consolidated program. Joining together to create a positive social atmosphere for all students involved, we are also able to provide our students with a diversity of viewpoints from educators and rabbis across the Main Line and beyond. This program has been developed by the four Conservative synagogues in the area - Adath Israel, Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El and Har Zion Temple and is open to other interested congregations, as well as teens who are not currently members of a synagogue
