Camp Hours:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Early Care Monday-Friday 7:30am to 9:00am.
Late Care Monday-Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El Early Childhood Center is proud to have an on-site summer day camp especially designed to meet the needs of children ages 2 to 5 years. We offer a fun filled, nurturing environment where children are among camp friends and flourish under the guidance of experienced, caring teachers. Each week showcases a different theme, along with coordinated activities, all of which are geared to the very young child. In addition, we celebrate Shabbat and enjoy Israeli Dancing which introduces the campers to the traditions of Judaism in a joyful, and age appropriate way.

Lunch and Learn Thursday, January 28th | Tu’ Bishvat Seder, the plants of the bible and what they can tell us about our traditions and customs with Jonathan Billig. Jonathan has designed programs, trained teachers, and coordinated departments at The Bronx Botanical Garden, Wave Hill, and New Hampshire’s Mount Monadnock. He holds a Masters of Science from Antioch University, New England, and a b.a. in history from Columbia University. His Jewish journey includes an undergraduate degree from JTS, participation in Aleph's Kesher Fellowship and Romemu's Yeshiva program, and a stint as a Teva educator and farmhand at Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center. He also co-designed and led the “Synagogue In the Woods” program for Temple Beth Shalom, Mahopac and has taught for multiple synagogues, starting with Greenburgh Hebrew Center in Westchester, NY, where he was a student.
