I had the pleasure of traveling this weekend for a friend's daughter's Bat Mitzvah. It was a lovely weekend filled with friendship, community, food and tradition. I was reminded of three things:
- Each synagogue is handling covid very differently.
- It is beautiful to be able to turn your cell phone off for an extended period of time on Shabbat.
- The personality of the Rabbi changes the feel of the service.
Linked is the most recent Rabbinic Search Update. The committee is looking forward to bringing in candidates to our community where we will be able to give feedback on whom each of us feels is the best fit for our community. An added bonus is that the services will be zoomed so everyone can watch, no matter where each of us is.
Coming up next weekend, we are bringing back First Friday, our festive service with family friendly appetizers, l'chaims and Carlebach tunes. Please rsvp here to let us know you will be coming.
Don't forget to RSVP for Sisterhood's Rosh Hodesh Night and Craft Night!
Have a great week!
