Please join us for Rosh Chodesh, the Jewish celebration of the New Moon. TBH-BE Sisterhood sponsors a gathering when women get together to sing, light ritual candles, enjoy refreshments, read poetry, and hear a guest speaker talk on a Jewish theme that is often personal or autobiographical, scholarly, historical, or holiday related. It’s a time for warmth, friendship, and relaxation as we mark time together with purpose and joy.

NISSAN | March 23 | Recipes from the Past –We will watch excerpts of a video called “Rescued Recipes: Heroic Actions That Saved Family Treasures” filmed at the Holocaust Museum with Chef Alon.

IYAR | April 20 | Suzanne Salzberg –Will speak on Banned Books –Suzanne is an educator and children’s librarian at Bala Cynwyd Library and member of Sabra Hadassah.
