Led by Elijah M. LaPrince Sr. and Dr. Shelly L. LaPrince
Elijah & Shelly LaPrince Sr., authors of “A Mother’s Desire, A Father’s Prayer, God’s Promise”, will share their 12- year journey with infertility. This was a story that was once too difficult to talk about, but has now encouraged so many to know that they are not alone in this journey. Through the miracle from God and inclusion of Medicine, they were blessed with two healthy children via in vitro fertilization (IVF). Elijah and Shelly will discuss their struggles, spirituality, perseverance and ability to strengthen their marriage while being faced with this hardship.
Elijah and Shelly LaPrince Sr., have been married for 21 years and reside in Berks County, PA with their 2 children Elijah and Rebecca. They are both active members at Congregation Temple Beth’El in Philadelphia PA. Elijah is an Account Manager for a local facilities management company, and a graduate student at Gratz College, majoring in Jewish Professional Studies. Shelly holds a PhD in Organization and Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration. Shelly is a Research Consultant at Optum, and an Adjunct faculty member at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions.
