As Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El celebrates its 60th Anniversary, we will take a look back at the Jewish community of 1958 and learn how the children and grandchildren of Russian immigrants moved from the original neighborhoods to the outlying areas (like Wynnefield and West Philly) and out to the immediate suburbs.

Two weeks later, we will board a bus to visit some of the sites that we discussed. Attendance at the talk is not necessary to take part in the tour (although it is recommended!). This talk and tour are presented by the Adult Education Committee and by Sisterhood.
