Soup for the Soul

The Sisterhood & Men’s Club need volunteers to help deliver soup & challah to members of our congregation. If you can help, please contact: Janet Shoemaker.

Mitzvah Committee
We provide assistance, visitation, 'Soup for the Soul,' and support. Call Gay Greene 610-664-1695 if you are in need or know someone who needs help. Volunteers are also needed.

Genuardi's now has e-scrip 
No more buying scrip or saving receipts.  If you have not filled out an application, stop in the office or go to www.escrip.com.   Use the Temple Beth Hillel Beth El Group ID of 1024158  Once you sign up all you have to do is give your new Genuardi card to the cashier and a percentage of your bill will go to TBHBE. 

Sisterhood Women’s Rosh Hodesh Study Group

Women’s Rosh Hodesh Study Group Calendar 2008

Rosh Hodesh Women’s Study Group meets monthly. It is a chance for women to gather and bring learning to an open discussion by finding guidance from others. Topics will be announced in the Pharisee, If you would like to help out, please contact one of the coordinators. Non-members are welcome, open to the entire TBH-BE community

May 5     Rosh Chodesh Study Group with Yom HaShoah

We are looking for people to host a program in their home, and/or to lead a monthly discussion. If you are interested, please contact one of the coordinators.

Sisterhood Book Club

Our book club runs quarterly and is held at women’s homes on Wednesdays at 12 noon. Lunch is provided. The annual cost to join is $15 for Sisterhood Members and $20 for nonmembers.

October 24 - review Darkness Visible: A Memoir of Madness by William Styron.
The meeting will take place at the home of Claire Sachs.

TRIBUTE CARDS

Would you like an easy and meaningful way to acknowledge an occasion or event?

These beautiful note cards depicting our stained glass tower can be purchased by you and sent to mark an occasion or life cycle event. The card states that a contribution has been made to Sisterhood. They can be purchased from the Synagogue office and from Marilyn Roseman at 610-896-6131. Tribute cards will be available at all Sisterhood meetings and events. The cost is:

•  $2.50 for 1 card

•  $18.00 for a box of 12 blank cards

•  $25.00 for a box of 12 cards with acknowledgement printed inside.

Please help support Sisterhood and our Synagogue by using these beautiful cards!
