This year's C&GB is shaping up to be the best ever! Sun., Nov. 5th, 9-4 and Mon. Nov. 6th, 9-3 There will be 55 vendors, our Silent Auction, Raffle Baskets, Flower Power, Food, and Fun. We are pleased to announce our corporate sponsors so far. They are Ardmore Toyota, Smith Barney, and Sovereign Bank. We hope you will patronize their businesses. Committees are now forming! Please contact one of our coordinators if you would like to be involved in this fun and energetic event. There are positions ranging from a few hours to days. Soup for the Soul

The Sisterhood & Men’s Club need volunteers to help deliver soup & challah to members of our congregation. If you can help, please contact: Janet Shoemaker. 

**Parents, this is a great Mitzvah to do with your kids on the way home from Hebrew School!

Gift Shop Staff Needed
Sisterhood members who would like to work at the Gift Shop should call Robyn Levin.

Closed Monday, Tuesday and Shabbat. As always, other times by appointment. Call 610-649-5300 x120 or email: boutique@comcast.net.

We still need people to volunteer to work! It only takes two hours a week, or even only 2 times a month!  No experience necessary. Will train – Fun, fun, fun!  Call Robyn Levin to sign up!

Mitzvah Committee
We provide assistance, visitation, 'Soup for the Soul,' and support. Call Gay Greene 610-664-1695 if you are in need or know someone who needs help. Volunteers are also needed.

Genuardi's now has e-scrip 
No more buying scrip or saving receipts.  If you have not filled out an application, stop in the office or go to www.escrip.com.   Use the Temple Beth Hillel Beth El Group ID of 1024158  Once you sign up all you have to do is give your new Genuardi card to the cashier and a percentage of your bill will go to TBHBE. 

Sisterhood Women’s Rosh Hodesh Study Group 2006/2007

Rosh Hodesh Women's Study Group meets monthly. It is a chance for women to gather, learn, discuss and find guidance from others. Please join us at any time for lively discussions.

Sisterhood Book Club

Our book club runs quarterly and is held at private homes on Wednesdays at 12 noon. Lunch is provided. The annual cost to join is $15 for Sisterhood members and $20 for non-members.

Opening Book Review:

September 13th at 12 noon at the home of Ethel Hofman. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, by Mark Haddon will be discussed.

TRIBUTE CARDS

Would you like an easy and meaningful way to acknowledge an occasion or event?

These beautiful note cards depicting our stained glass tower can be purchased by you and sent to mark an occasion or life cycle event. The card states that a contribution has been made to Sisterhood. They can be purchased from the Synagogue office and from Marilyn Roseman at 610-896-6131. Tribute cards will be available at all Sisterhood meetings and events. The cost is:

•  $2.50 for 1 card

•  $18.00 for a box of 12 blank cards

•  $25.00 for a box of 12 cards with acknowledgement printed inside.
