Home and School Association

The Home and School Association (HSA) of the Early Childhood Center consists of a group of dedicated volunteer parents who contribute their time to implement school holiday celebrations, social action programs, fund-raising events and social activities for children and adults.

The various fund-raising events held throughout the year support our Fitness Program, In-Service Staff Training and Teacher Conferences, the purchase of special equipment and learning materials, and the refurbishing of our school playground.

Our volunteer parents who participate in the HSA report that their involvement has been a wonderful way to network with other parents and develop long lasting family friendships.

Homeroom Parents

Homeroom Parents are a vital part of the school community experience in the Early Childhood Center. They are an important link between the classroom and the home. Frequently, homeroom parents are the first to inform families of important life cycle events, both joyous and sad, often planning home visits with a cooked meal or a basket of cheer. Together with the teachers, they plan special classroom events, participate in activities and field trips, and call upon others to volunteer when needed.
