Temple Beth Hille1 –Beth El is quite proud of its Early Childhood Center, which has earned a reputation throughout the Philadelphia area for excellence in Jewish early childhood programming. Guided by the capable experienced hands of our Early Childhood Center Director, Ann Altus, and a staff of over thirty highly qualified and dedicated teachers and school personnel, a wide range of classes are available. Our schedule begins with Two by Two for young two-year-olds, Nursery classes for toddlers, and three and four year olds. Five-year-olds can begin their somewhat more formal education in our two full-day Kindergarten programs. Additional services include an Enrichment class, Lunch Bunch and babysitting programs. Bright Horizons, our class for preschoolers with special needs, fills a void in the educational community for these children.

TBHBE Summer Camps (2008 information to be posted when available)

Summer Camp - Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El Day Camp

J        Our young two year olds attend camp Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

J        For older 2, 3 and 4 year olds, camp programming is scheduled for 5 days a week Monday thru Friday.  For these campers there are special activities daily.

J        As you make plans for your child’s summer camp experience at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El, please note that it is financially beneficial to select the longer camp session at the onset.  However, a six or seven week camp session may be extended, but it will be at a slightly higher rate.

J        Extended day is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-3 PM.  The total cost for each session is $12.  We include play activities, snack, dramatic play and music each afternoon.  A minimum of 8 children is required for this program which will begin the second week of camp.  You may sign up on the first day of camp.

J        Contact the office to request a registration card and return it to the office with your $200 deposit.

J        The 2004 camp season begins on Monday, June 21.
