Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El Library
In an effort to bring the many books in the Beth Hillel/Beth El library to the attention of our congregants, below is a list of the categories of books so that it will be easier to search out specific types and to give a better sense of the range of Judaic topics. Several congregants [including Sharon Stumacher, Helene Tigay and Barbara Spector] have worked hard to make our collection so useful and to eliminate duplicate books.
We have instituted a simple system using cards and a box for loans and returns. The procedure is spelled out in the library on the corner table – just take your blue membership card and make a notation when you borrow a book. There is a white box on the floor for returns and volunteers will be in twice a week to reshelve. It will even be possible to take a book out on Shabbat, using paperclips rather than writing.
Hope you all enjoy your summer reading!
