New Orleans-based Chef Alon Shaya has received praise throughout the food industry. In 2015, Alon was awarded a coveted James Beard Foundation Award in the category of "Best Chef - South". This event will include an interview, a cooking demonstration and a book signing of his soon-to-be-published book, Shaya: An Odyssey of Food, My Journey Back to Israel.
