Dear ECC Families,

It is hard to believe, but enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year is almost complete! Many of our programs are completely filled. Requests by families who do not yet have a child enrolled in our school are also coming in every day. In order to guarantee a space for your child(ren) for the 2017-2018 school year, please fill out our on-line application tonight, and have your deposit in our office by tomorrow morning. Enrollment will be open to new students on February 1, 2017Please click here for our on-line registration form.

If you know now that your child will not be returning to TBH-BE next year, please let me know.

Again, if you would like to re-enroll for the coming school year, please click here for our on-line registration form. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the office once your form has been received and reviewed. Please also send in your $500 deposit (per child) to complete the registration and reserve a space in the class (Please make a notation in the memo section of your check to read "Tuition 2017-2018"). A second deposit of $500 is due by June 1, 2017. All deposits will be applied towards your final tuition payment for the school year.

Please call the office with any questions.

Warmly,

Judith, Randi and Arlene

Only 8 More Days

01/24/2017 09:14:45 AM

Jan24

Dear ECC Families,

In 8 days our enrollment will be open to the public. Enrollments for the 2017-2018 school year are coming in at a steady pace - as are requests by families who do not yet have a child enrolled in our school. We cannot emphasis it enough- in order to guarantee a space for your child(ren) for the 2017-2018 school year, please fill out our on-line application as soon as possible and have your deposit in our office by January 30, 2017. Enrollment will be open to new students on February 1, 2017.

Next year you can expect:

  • Professional and Licensed Teachers - we are not a Day Care, we are a School that is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We are a school with childcare hours.
  • Committed Staff with long tenures at TBH-BE - some as long as 27 years.
  • Limited Class Sizes - Three year old, four year old, and Kindergarten classes will have a maximum of 16 children per class. This will require some minor changes to the number of classes we have for each age group:
    • (2) Two Year Old Classes: Led by Barbara Bookman and Sara Goldfuss
    • (2) Three Year Old Classes: Led by Jen Shandelman and Debbie Mazer
    • (3) Pre-K Classes: Marla Zipkin, Leslie Maizel, and Alex Waserstein will lead our Pre-K classes.
  • High Teacher to Child Ratios.
  • Creative and Progressive Curriculum that meets and exceeds PA Standards.
  • A Warm and Loving Community.
  • A Place to Call "Home" for your entire family.

Please click here for our on-line registration form. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the office once your form has been received and reviewed. In addition to the online process, please also send in your $500 deposit (per child) to complete the registration and reserve a space in the class (Please make a notation in the memo section of your check to read "Tuition 2017-2018"). A second deposit of $500 is due by June 1, 2017. All deposits will be applied towards your final tuition payment for the school year.

Please call the office with any questions.

  • Check plants, water and fertilize appropriately, based on season.
  • Monitor availability of produce ready for harvest.
  • Coordinate with the Shabbat Kidddush Coordinator, Cook for a Friend and Response
to Hunger volunteers about produce available for use in programs and congregational events.
  • Monitor soil/compost resources on hand, and usability of garden structures and tools; notify Gan Kehillah Committee co-chairs about needs.
  • Notify Gan Kehillah co-chairs about needs for volunteers to assist with filling, planting
    or cleaning up beds.
  • Supervise volunteers who assist with filling, planting or cleaning up beds.

This is a year-round position, approximately 10 hours per week during growing season;
