Community Life

Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is, above all else, a warm, caring, involved community. We strive to promote friendship among our members and to instill a sense of responsibility to the Jewish people, Israel and the larger community

TBHBE counts on the active participation of its membership to provide support and services to the congregation and the community at large. We are always looking for members who are interested in participating in the many aspects of synagogue life.

We recently celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Rabbi Neil and Lori Cooper who joined our community in 1991. Please see a few photos of the "Heart and Soul Tribute Weekend which included a Kabbalat Shabbat "Service of the Heart", a Patron's reception, and a "Concert from the Soul" featuring Neshama Carlebach and the Green Pastures Baptist Choir.
