In addition to the many operational committees of the synagogue (finance, personnel, membership, house and grounds, fund raising, education, youth and religious services), we have special outreach committees to service the needs of our members and our community, both local and global.
Sisterhood, affiliated with Women's League for Conservative Judaism, invites all of our female members to join and participate in the many programs and services provided throughout the year. The main focus of our dedicated women is to foster and promote the educational, religious, cultural and social welfare of the congregation through important projects and special events. Sisterhood
Men's Club, associated with the National Federation of Jewish Men's Club, offers a wide range of activities for the men of our congregation. The Men's Club sponsored Tzedakathon is a wonderful annual family event that includes a walk, run, and bike race for charity. L'Chaim and "Boomers" are social, cultural and educational groups focusing on the "empty-nesters" of our membership. Havurah of Beth Hillel-Beth El consists of members and families who come together for Shabbat services and on holidays. They are lay-led, traditional, egalitarian, highly participatory and rather informal. Havurah Shabbat Service

Israel Advocacy is devoted to countering the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic attacks prevalent in today's environment. Its major focus is to keep congregants as well as our college students up-to-date with relevant information through discussion concerning Israel. Israel Advocacy
