From Wilmington, DE, and points south

Take I-95 North. About 8 miles north of the Delaware / Pennsylvania border, take exit 7 onto I-476 North toward Plymouth Meeting. After about 5 miles take Exit 5 to Rt.1 North. Continue North on U.S. 1 for about 9 miles. Turn left on U.S./Route 30 West (Lancaster Avenue).  After approximately 1 mile, turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Remington Road. Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is on the right.

From Northern New Jersey and New York

Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 6 and follow signs for the PA Turnpike (276). Take the PA Turnpike West to Exit 20 (at milepost 333, I-476 South, Mid County/Philadelphia/Chester) Take I-476 South to Exit 16 (I-76 East, Philadelphia). Take I-76 East to Exit 339 onto City Avenue (Route 1 South). At the end of the exit, turn right onto City Avenue. Continue on City Avenue for 2.7 miles and turn right onto U.S./Route 30 West (Lancaster Avenue). After approximately 1 mile, turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Remington Road. Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is on the right.

From Southern New Jersey via Center City

Take the Walt Whitman Bridge to 76 West (Schuykill Expressway West), or take the Ben Franklin Bridge and 676 West (Vine Street Expressway) to 76 West toward Valley Forge. Follow signs for City Ave and take Exit 339 onto City Ave (Route 1 South).  At the end of the exit, turn right onto City Avenue (Rt. 1 South).  Continue on City Avenue for 2.7 miles and turn right onto U.S./Route 30 West (Lancaster Avenue). After approximately 1 mile, turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Remington Road. Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is on the right.

From Pittsburgh and points west

Take Pennsylvania Turnpike East (I-76) to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Pay toll and continue on I-76 East to Philadelphia. Follow to Exit 339 onto City Avenue (Route 1 South).  At the end of the exit, turn right onto City Avenue (Rt. 1 South).  Continue on City Avenue for 2.7 miles and turn right onto U.S./Route 30 West (Lancaster Avenue). After approximately 1 mile, turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Remington Road. Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is on the right.


Please be sure to turn into the entrance driveway and not the exit one.
