Prayer, education and community are the foundations of our congregation. Our leaders emphasize active participation in all aspects of synagogue life.
Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is a Beit Tefillah
Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El is a member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and is proud of its affiliation with The Jewish Theological Seminary of America. All of our services are egalitarian, with women granted aliyot and equal participation in all aspects of prayers and leadership. Youth Services, beginning with Tot Shabbat and continuing through the milestone of bar and bat mitzvah, are held each Shabbat throughout the school year. Our Havurah conducts lay-led Shabbat services three times a month as well as on holidays. Our monthly Family Minyan, also lay-led, provides another Shabbat alternative focusing on family participation.
